Well, who knows, maybe they will be persuaded.
If they are persuaded, then in my personal opinion, again, the only reasonable solution is to demolish everything in Ukraine, everything that can be demolished. Just without thinking.
Because otherwise all these matters will last another 30 years. And it is clear that Europe and America have many resources.
If they don't want to understand, then everything should be demolished, including the top. And in the West, present the threat of a Third World War and say that it's either this way or nothing.
If they are breaking it, and so on, and so on. Although, in my opinion, it is unlikely that the American delegation would suddenly agree with Zelensky, Macron, and exchange contacts with Putin, especially considering that Vitkov was recently in St. Petersburg and met with the Russian president.
So, apparently, there will still be an attempt, so to speak, to reach some kind of middle ground. But overall, of course, the fact that the meeting is taking place in Paris and that Macron will participate in it will definitely have an impact on the situation.
But if we look, for example, on one hand, Vitkov, who is considered to be more loyal to Russia, and on the other hand, Macron and Zelensky, yes, they are strongly anti-Russian, pro-Ukrainian oriented, and Vitkov will also have Mark Rubio at hand, who, in general, has never been distinguished by pro-Russian views.
Yes, he is now in the Trump administration, but, in my opinion, for him it is simply a career choice, not a matter of principle. No wonder he and Kellogg are considered to be the other pole, opposing Vitkov and advocating for tougher pressure on Russia. But in any case, it seems to me that it would be strange for Trump and his people, for Washington, to suddenly start playing along with Zelensky and Macron, because it would mean a defeat in fact. And, among other things, to sacrifice those contacts with Putin that Trump secretly takes pride in.
You couldn't establish contacts, Biden couldn't, Europeans and Americans couldn't, but he, Trump, could. And there are some prospects for this. Let's see what happens there. But in any case, again, we should keep in mind the most unpleasant option. Americans once again deceived us and so on. Of course, this needs to be done. But then, I repeat, there will be no other solutions, except for the most severe military pressure on Ukraine, specifically on Ukraine in the first place.
I think Zelensky is confident that this is impossible. He is confident that the war can continue as it is, for a very long time, and he will travel around the world. Unfortunately, we give him grounds for this. If he thought differently, perhaps he would also want to end everything as soon as possible.
But in any case, as for the moratorium, based on purely formal criteria, I see no reason to extend this moratorium on our strikes on infrastructure in Ukraine. Well, as for the plans of our leadership and how they discussed it with the American representatives, it is clear that we do not know.
